Average Home Price in Frederick and Washignton Counties Varies by Home Type for 2016

This is a follow up to an earlier post on the rise in average housing prices  in the region.  Average home sale prices vary dramatically by type of home - detached, townhouse or condo.   Here are the differences for 2016.  Keep in mind that these numbers are for standard sales which represent 84% of sales in Frederick County.  They do not include foreclosures (11%) and short sales (4%).

Note that all average home prices by type increased in 2016 in both Frederick and Washington County with the exception of condos in Frederick County.
