Application designer Bill Adkins demonstrated the application
and accepted the award in March at the Towson University GIS
Conference. The application allows City staff and residents to better

The Snow Application was created in house over the past six

Frederick Municipal Airport
Come Check Us Out!
|
|
The airport is busy with two major projects to enhance
operations and increase capacity. The first is construction of a new
facility to store equipment used for snow removal operations. The
building's concrete foundation has been poured (pictured), and now the
exciting part of assembling the steel infrastructure can take place.
The second project will clear approximately 190,000 cubic yards of dirt
on the southwest portion of the airfield to make way for a runway
extension and future development.
Through all the activity the airport will remain fully
operational. We hope to see you out this spring to watch the airplanes
or enjoy a meal at the Airways Inn restaurant.
You can 'Like' the Frederick Municipal Airport Facebook page for the latest news, updates, and event information.
