Save the Date: April 18 2017 Stephen Parnes on the Historic Preservation Commission

Hot topic for downtown Frederick residents! Show up and ask questions for a better understanding of the Historic Preservation Commission. Save the date: APRIL 18 - NAC 11 meeting. From Michele Bowman: At the April 18 meeting of NAC 11 Stephen Parnes, a long-time resident of NAC 11 will be presenting the history and process of developing the HPC Guidelines and the procedure for amending the Guidelines; benefits of the Frederick Town Historic District designation; and recommendations for addressing individual interests and concerns with residents living in the Historic District. He will also address initiatives to improve our recognition and public perception. Stephen has been a member of the volunteer-citizen Historic Preservation Commission of the City of Frederick since 2011, Vice Chairman since 2015, and Chairman of the Education & Public Relations Committee since 2012.
